Welcome to the Awkward Transition
The Lightspress Manifesto is going through a hell of a transition right now. It's like a whirlwind of change sweeping through the old headquarters, shaking things up and leaving the dust of the past in its wake. And let me tell you, it's all happening because of you. That's right, you, the readers, the passionate and vocal supporters of this manifesto. Your voices have been heard, your demands have been noted, and we're here to deliver. From now on, brace yourself for a revolution in the way we bring you the latest news, releases, and mind-blowing deals. We're going back to basics, my friends, and it's going to be one hell of a ride.
First things first, those grandiose announcements that used to get buried in the chaos of the blogosphere? They deserve more attention, damn it! So, we're giving them the spotlight they deserve. New releases, bundles that'll make your jaw drop, and sales that'll leave your wallet begging for mercy—they'll all get their own stand-alone posts. No more getting lost in the shuffle, no more being overshadowed by the noise. We're putting them front and center, where they belong.
But hold on a second, because that's not all. You see, the old-fashioned RPG blog-type posts that used to grace these pages? Yeah, they're on their way out. I won't call them "Old School," 'cause if you know you know. Instead, let's say they're making way for something bigger, something better. And trust me, it's about damn time. Now, don't get me wrong. If you're one of the rare souls who actually enjoyed those blog-type posts, well, I won't judge you. In fact, I encourage you to speak up, let your voice be heard amidst the sea of change. But for the rest of us, fear not. Anything and everything I feel the need to say will find its home in this weekly newsletter.
Yes, my friends, this newsletter is going to be a wild concoction of news snippets, juicy tidbits, and a brief recap of the recent announcements that have set our hearts ablaze. It's going to be a melting pot of ideas, a hodgepodge of thoughts, all bundled up in one place for your reading pleasure. Because let's face it, not everything needs a whole separate post to articulate. Sometimes, the best things come in bite-sized portions. As we embark on this journey of transformation, I must warn you: there might be a bit of overlap. It might feel strange at times, like déjà vu on steroids. But hey, life's an editing process, my friends. It's messy, it's imperfect, and it's a constant work in progress. And in the midst of it all, here I am, one guy trying to make a living, trying to make sense of this crazy world we live in.
So buckle up, my friends. This whole endeavor is an ongoing experiment, a wild ride where we aim to make our workload easier while keeping you informed and entertained. It's a labor of love, a battle against the mundane, and it's all for you. The Lightspress Manifesto is shifting gears. The winds of change are blowing, and we're ready to ride the storm. Together, we'll chart a new course, and we'll make sure that every step of the way, you're right there with us.

New Release Pricing, Explained
Going forward, all new releases will be 30% off during their week of release and a full week (Monday to Sunday) afterward. This gives everyone two full weekends to grab a new book at a discount, hopefully covering everyone’s payday. The reason for the change comes back to “I’m one guy with a lot on my plate, and this is the simplest way to do things”. The discounted prices will apply to all sales venues, not just DriveThruRPG.
